Arch. Fulgar studied at the University of the Philippines College of Architecture and gained experience working with diversified LEED and Greenmark mixed development mega-projects with worldwide industry consultants such as Skidmore Owings & Merrill of New York, Arup, Meinhardt, Cicada, Wilson Associates, and Davis Langdon & Seah. He is now managing his own architectural firm and construction company in the Philippines promoting for better local identity aesthetics, smarter and greener buildings for sustainable communities and environment.

Ian has over ten-year experience in software technology developing both front-end UI and server side systems to leverage on a wide variety of parametric building information modeling (BIM) technologies for design making, energy analysis, and related architectural simulations.

Ian's enduring love for arts and architecture inspires him to continually explore various doctrines and fundamentals of art and design making from traditional subjects to the use of digital form finding in paintings and other mediums of expressions. He investigates criticisms and theories in contemporary art and architecture and is currently pursuing graduate studies in the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines - Diliman.
